About Conner


Conner Egan is an experienced associate attorney whose practice focuses on defending individuals accused of crimes, including DUII, out of the firm’s Portland office. Prior to joining Gilroy Napoli Short, Conner was a Deputy District Attorney for Marion County, Oregon, where he prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony cases ranging from DUII and property crimes to Measure 11 child sex abuse crimes. In addition, Conner has extensive experience in handling the complexities of cases involving a person with a mental illness. Conner has also clerked in the District Attorney Offices of Multnomah County, Lane County, and Jackson County and worked in the Oregon State Legislature as a criminal law policy advisor. Conner uses his experience and expertise to help clients through a difficult time in their lives by guiding them through the criminal justice system and advocating for a fair and just outcome.

Background

Conner is a graduate of the University of Oregon where he majored in Political Science and Religious Studies. He earned his law degree at the University of Oregon School of Law. Conner was born and raised in Medford, Oregon, the son of two school teachers. When he is not in the office, you can find him chasing his kids around and spending time with his family.
